In celebrating my birthday this week I felt drawn to the tasty cake and ice cream recipes shared on last week's linkup! I can't say that I love getting older, but being a mom on my birthday is pretty great-- even when it means making my own cupcakes (quality time with my kids) because my husband was working till dinner time. I enjoyed time spent with my family, and the little surprises they had in store for me. All in all, the day was perfect!
