Did you make resolutions for the new year? We'd love to hear about them in the comments. One of my goals for this year is to eat healthier and exercise more with my family. I'm not one to get into fad diets or make other extreme lifestyle changes, but I do believe in eating in moderation and making regular physical activity a priority. While starting to exercise more regularly, my kids and I found a park near us that has a concrete track around the perimeter I can walk while the kids play. Being at the park inspired us to make it a goal to visit at least 25 parks near us over the summer. More on that to come in future posts.
My kids were in such a habit of eating treats all the time over the holidays that we've been looking for healthier treat alternatives. The other night I served some fresh berries for dessert, and they loved it! So in lieu of my goals, this week I chose to feature *mostly* healthy recipes. I hope you find something you like!

Pineapple Salsa from Eat Like You Love Yourself
This sounds amazing to eat with some tortilla chips for a sweet and spicy low-calorie snack!
Clementines & Pomegranates from Whole Food Home
Fresh fruit salad is always a healthy option for a side dish or dessert. Loving this combo!
Nutella Stuffed Donuts from The Crafting Foodie
Mmm. C'mon who can resist these? Like I said, everything in moderation.

I totally love that you included the Nutella donuts! You and I have so much in common with how we think. Forget fad diets, but everything in moderation is I believe key.
