25+ Thanksgiving Projects

We love spending time as a family during the holidays, especially when we can find fun & simple activities to do together! We've compiled our favorite Thanksgiving projects from Pinterest to bring you tons of crafts, activities, decor, recipes, and more!

Since I was young my parents made these Cookie Turkeys every year as place settings for Thanksgiving. We've enjoyed continuing this tradition.

This portable Thanksgiving Activity Basket idea makes it easier to keep projects handy when you're on the go, including a couple fun activity tutorials like the peg doll set (below). Find the instructions on Dripping Paint Brush.

The Peg Doll Set is too cute!

It's nice to have something to write down what you're grateful for, and we think this Gratitude Journal is beautiful! Print it for free from Kori Clark.

Make Leaf Turkeys by collecting some fall leaves from trees outside and make a turkey drawing or out of construction paper. Add some glue to the leaves, and you have a fun Thanksgiving project!

Ever made pie and have leftover crust go to waste? These Cinnamon Sugar Pie Crust Chips are your solution, not to mention great for the kids to snack on while they wait for Thanksgiving dinner to be ready! Also find Mini Pumpkin Pies and other delectable holiday recipes on Food Apparel.

Remember Mad Libs? I had books of these when I was a kid! So much fun for older kids (and adults, too!). Print it off My Sister's Suitcase.

Looking for a fun way to help the kids be grateful throughout November? Measure their thankfulness with this adorable DIY banner meter by Dripping Paintbrush!

Want beautiful, unique fall candles without spending a lot? Make these yourself with Mason jars! Find out how on Spark & Chemistry.

Coloring is such a great activity for when you need to do get something done like holiday baking. Just print them off and give the kids crayons! Find it on Meet Penny.

For another fun cookie turkey variety, try Oreo Cookie Balls! They're easier than you'd think, find the recipe on Eazy Peazy Mealz.

Sweet Necessities bakery makes delicious pies for Thanksgiving and other holiday goodies. Check them out on Facebook.

For a Thanksgiving decoration that's both fun and useful, make a Thanksgiving Goodie Basket, tutorial on The Stylish Nest.

This adorable turkey craft that can easily decorate any area of the home is found on Keeping it Simple.
