Oreo Freak Out

This month we celebrated my husband's birthday and made his favorite ice cream cake, Oreo Freak-Out. It's one of my favorite recipes from growing up and one of the first ones I made for David when we got together. He doesn't like traditional cake much so this Oreo ice creak cake is perfect for him, and one we all really like. I'm craving it again just thinking about it!

Layer the following in a 9 X 13 pan:

2/3 package crushed Oreo's
1.5 quart vanilla ice cream
6 oz honey roasted peanuts
1/2 pint jar caramel ice cream topping
8 oz tub Cool Whip
1/3 package Oreo crumbs

Hint: The ice cream is easier to layer if you soften it on the counter for about 10 minutes, then turn it over onto a cutting board to slice into 3-4 pieces.

Cover with foil and freeze overnight or for at least a couple hours before serving.

ENJOY!!
