Mexican Haystacks Recipe

Our family loves dinners that can be individualized according to each persons taste like Mexican Haystacks. They're a family-favorite, Mexican variation of Hawaiian Haystacks that we think you'll like, too!

The recipe is really easy to make, in fact, the hardest part is browning the ground beef. First step, start the rice cooking in a rice cooker or your preferred method. Second, make taco meat from one pound of ground beef (or chicken), then mixed with water and taco seasoning.

Third step, prepare your toppings. Optional toppings include: cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, taco sauce, sour cream, olives, peppers, and regular or chili Fritos.

Layer the rice, taco meat, and desired toppings.

ENJOY!!
